Lunafest, short films for, by and about women, to be presented March 7

POCATELLO — The Idaho State University Gender Resource Center will sponsor the Lunafest film festival on March 7 in the Rendezvous Complex Suites on the ISU campus.

There will be two separate showings from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the community.

Lunafest trys to connect women through film. It is a festival of short films, which were created by, for and about women. This festival travels to show these award-winning films. This season’s films are filled with hope, reflection and humor. They are brought to campuses to raise awareness on various women’s issues for Women’s History Month. More than 175 cities will host the film festival and more than 25,000 will view the festival.
