POCATELLO – The Idaho State University Nepalese Night will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.
The 10th annual celebration aims to provide insight into Nepalese culture. Attendees can expect to see dance and musical performances, and different traditions representing each region of the country.
Traditional food being served includes chicken curry, rice, aloo achar (potatoes with sesame seeds and green chilies), mixed beans and sewal (cooked milk and noodle pudding) for dessert.
Tickets purchased in advance are $8 for students, $9 for faculty/staff and $10 for the public. Tickets purchased at the door are $1 more. Tickets are available at Pond Student Union and Rendezvous Complex until Feb. 19.
