Irish Musician Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhride featured March 5 at College Market

POCATELLO – Misneach, Idaho State University’s student Irish club, will host Seacht ain na Gaeilge (Irish language week) with singer Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhride at the College Market on Saturday, March 5, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Doimnic mac giolla bhride is an internationally acclaimed Irish musician and traditional sean-nos singer from Donegal, Ireland. This is his first American tour of the West.

Tickets are $5 at the door. The Butcher’s Block will be serving alcoholic beverages for this event, so please bring your I.D.

ISU Season of Note will present Barrage 8 March 25 at the Stephens Performing Arts Center

POCATELLO — Idaho State University’s “A Season of Note” series will present “Barrage 8” March 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in the Jensen Grand Hall.

“Barrage 8” is the latest project from John Crozman, Dean Marshall and Tony Moors, the original creators of the hit show “Barrage.” Utilizing the same energy, panache and innovative stage performance that Barrage was known for, “Barrage 8,” features all the instruments in the modern string family.
